What you need to attend this course .......

Level 2 Beauty Therapy,  including good skills and industry experience.  Consideration will also be given to course tutor and work experience references, commitment and regular attendance on your Level 2 course.  You must be reliable, be able to work at a higher level and committed to meet course work deadlines. It is essential that you are prepared to study and practice your skills in a salon environment.  You will also be required to attend an interview to secure your training place.

• Provide facial electrical treatments
• Provide body massage treatments
• Provide electrical epilation treatments
• Monitor procedures to safely control work operations
• Contribute to the planning and implementation of promotional activities
• Contribute to the financial effectiveness of the business
• Carry out massage using pre-blended aromatherapy oils.

Massage Route – you will learn how to ……..

• Provide body massage treatments
• Provide Indian head massage
• Carry out massage using pre-blended aromatherapy oils
• Provide stone therapy
• Provide body electrical treatments
• Monitor procedures to safely control work operations
• Contribute to the planning and implementation of promotional activities
• Contribute to the financial effectiveness of the business

Progression .......

Work within a beauty salon or suppliers and self-employment after gaining experience at a higher level.

Additional courses:

• Acrylic nail technique and application
• Gel nail technique and application
• Nail Art

Government funding is available for those who qualify.

This course can also be funded by the learner.
